Abstract

Pekerja adalah antara penentu yang paling penting dan adalah faktor utama yang menentukan kejayaan organisasi dalam persekitaran yang kompetitif. Jika diuruskan dengan baik, komitmen pekerja boleh membawa kepada akibat yang berfaedah seperti keberkesanan meningkat, peningkatan prestasi, produktiviti dan kehadiran. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kesan ganjaran dan persekitaran kerja terhadap komitmen afektif para kakitangan di peringkat sokongan di sebuah IPTS Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa kedua-dua faktor ini mempunyai kesan yang positif kepada pembentukan komitmen afektif. Namun begitu, analisa regresi mendapati faktor ganjaran lebih mempengaruhi komitmen afektif berbanding persekitaran kerja.
